Testimony of
Siobhan Rachamim
Siobhan Rachamim and her husband were in the safe room in their home in Nahal Oz during the terrorists' attack on the kibbutz. For hours, they were exposed to what was happening in the kibbutz through cell phone messages and television screens, while contact with their son and grandchildren was cut off. When the evacuation arrived, Siobhan crossed the kibbutz, accompanied by two soldiers, and ran to their son's house, regardless of the red alerts. Together, they boarded the buses that evacuated them from their home. Shivon is waiting for the moment when she can return to her home in the kibbutz. She is not ready to give up.
