Testimony of

On Shabbat morning, the family was woken up by alerts from their app. They rushed into the safe room. Later, they saw pleas for help written in the kibbutz WhatsApp group, and messages about people who were killed. The mother held the door of the safe room closed from the inside for 12 hours. When the dogs barked, she knew the terrorists were coming towards their house, but fortunately, they did not break in. The family stayed in the safe room for over 24 hours.
