Testimony of
Regina Solomon
Regina and her husband were awakened by the sound of explosions. Her husband, who is a paramedic, quickly realized that there was a ground infiltration. They managed to leave the kibbutz and found shelter by the side of the road. Her husband went to Prigan to help as a paramedic while Regina remained in the shelter. Later, four wounded people arrived at the shelter. Suddenly, Regina heard someone shout and discovered that her husband had been injured. After saving his life and evacuating him to the hospital, Regina realized that the roadside shelter was unsafe. She decided to go to a friend who lives in Dekel. She stayed in the safe room for a day and then continued to her family in Hadera. Despite his injury, her husband returned to help the medical forces in the south.
