Nitzan Sinvaniy
Nitzan Sinvaniy and a friend arrived at the Nova Festival shortly before the terrorist attack began. Despite the constant shooting, Nitzan remained calm for the first hour. At 7:30 a.m., they started running away, trying to hide as they returned to the car and drove by a different route to avoid the traffic jam at the exit of the party area. Nitzan took nonstop photographs. When they couldn't continue anymore – surrounded by gunshots and screams – they stopped and tried to hide in the orchard. On the way, they met Ofek, who had fled the party in his car and begged him to take them in his already packed car. And so, with ten strangers in the car, including two in the trunk, they drove at 160 kilometers per hour in an open field with falling rockets, interceptions, and shootings while Ofek's father directed him from afar. When they reached a secure location, Nitzan had her first panic attack. Since then, she has coped with the funerals of murdered friends and ongoing terror.
