Miki from Nahal Oz fought alone for hours against terrorists who broke into his house on Saturday morning. According to him, the terrorists targeted him. Throughout the day, Hamas fighters tried to pressure Miki by sending hostages his way and even by negotiating with him. Using the knowledge he acquired through his extensive training, the fear that sharpened his senses, and a Glock pistol with seven cartridges, Mickey prevented the armed terrorists from entering the safe room in his home. He physically protected his wife and one of his daughters, who were in the safe room and witnessed the battle that was going on in the house.
