The Full Testimony

Testimony of

Judith Bdolach

Yehudit Bdolach, a resident of Dorot, is the youth coach of the Gaza Envelope triathlon team. On Saturday morning, she went riding with five of the boys, including her son Dan, in the Shokada area. A few minutes after they started riding, the missile barrage began. They rode quickly to the shelter at the entrance of Kibbutz Sa'ad. Many vehicles fleeing the Nova festival passed by the shelter, and Yehudit began to realize that something big was happening. Parents came to the shelter and picked up three boys, and she stayed there with Dan and another girl, Inbal. On the phone, one of the boys who were traveling told her that they were in Alonit, Kfar Gaza, and that terrorists had shot at them. Judith did not hesitate. She ordered Dan and Inbal to ride to the house of Inbal's relatives in Sa'ad and rode alone to Alonit, where she assisted in the treatment and evacuation of the wounded. She discovered powers and resourcefulness she didn't know she had and left only after all the wounded were evacuated. After spending many hours in the safe room at Kibbutz Saad, she and Dan drove home. It was only then that she allowed herself to cry.
