Testimony of
Debi Oulu
Debi Oulu, an artist, came to the desert to spend the weekend as part of a gathering of the planning committee for MidBurn Festival. The event, dubbed as Israel’s Burning Man, was scheduled for the following month. On Saturday morning, she woke up in her sleeping bag with the sound of rockets. Debi set out to leave, but wasn’t sure whether that was the right thing to do. The decision to turn around and go back saved her life.
